Professional language support with real-world experience

All World Translations was established around seven years ago, building on many years of professional interpreting and translation experience.

Lithuanian remains at the heart of our language expertise, but our work extends far beyond a single language. Through our network of professional interpreters and translators, we can support requirements in languages including Albanian, Russian, Urdu and many others.

We believe being a smaller, independent company is an advantage. Clients receive a personal and flexible service, while our professional network gives us access to additional language expertise and resources when an assignment requires them.

This enables us to respond to anything from an individual appointment or document translation to larger or more complex requirements involving multiple appointments, documents or languages.

Experience where communication really matters

Much of our work takes place in environments where accuracy, professionalism and the ability to communicate calmly and clearly are particularly important.

Our healthcare experience includes work with the NHS and NHS Wales, supporting GP services and communication during consultations, outpatient appointments, physiotherapy, scans, operations, maternity and childbirth, oncology appointments and other areas of patient care.

Within the justice system, our experience includes Magistrates' Courts and Crown Courts, working with prosecution and defence teams, courts, police and private solicitors.

Assignments have involved serious and complex matters including fraud, grievous bodily harm, child abuse, theft and death by dangerous driving. Our police work has included witness statements, interviews, charging processes and evidence gathering.

We also have experience supporting social services, including work involving children and families, supervised contact and sensitive safeguarding situations.

Whatever the setting, our role remains the same: to enable clear and accurate communication while remaining professional, impartial and respectful to everyone involved.

Translation as well as interpreting

Our experience is not limited to spoken interpreting.

We provide professional written translation for a wide variety of material, including court documents, witness statements, medical documentation, product information, instructions for medical equipment and documentation for private businesses and organisations.

Different documents require different expertise. We consider the subject matter, intended audience and purpose of the document when identifying the appropriate translator for an assignment.

Professional standards

Professional interpreting requires considerably more than simply being able to speak two languages.

Our professional network includes interpreters and translators with relevant professional registrations, memberships, qualifications and experience, including registration with the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) and membership of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).

We understand the importance of accuracy, impartiality, confidentiality and professional boundaries, particularly when working within healthcare, legal, police and social-care environments.

At the same time, professionalism does not mean being impersonal. Many of the situations in which we work are stressful, emotional or unfamiliar for the people involved. We believe it is possible to remain professionally impartial while treating everyone with empathy, patience and respect.

Recognised in difficult circumstances

Our work has sometimes involved particularly challenging and sensitive circumstances.

During one high-profile death by dangerous driving case, our interpreting work included supporting communication with the victim's family while working alongside the police during a difficult and distressing investigation.

Our contribution was subsequently recognised with a Chief Inspector's commendation for the work undertaken in difficult circumstances.

Experiences such as this reinforce something that is central to the way we work: behind every appointment, case or document are real people who need to understand and be understood.

We provide translation and interpreting services throughout England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Face-to-face, telephone and video interpreting allow us to provide language support wherever it is required, while our network of professional linguists enables us to respond to requirements across different languages and specialist areas.
